She had spent many years as a cell biologist working on cancer research, but after having her twin boys she took a break from research and began diving into art. Her pieces were immediately popular and that began her journey. \u003cbr\u003eCath moved to the Isle of Skye where she opened a workshop and outlet shop in the village of Dunvegan, with an endless supply of inspiration in the views overlooking the loch. In 2024 she also opened a gallery and gift shop in Portree, the heart of Skye. She creates most of her artworks from her home studio in Carbost, working from photographs she's taken of the landscapes of Scotland. \u003cbr\u003eNow Cath is a recognised and award winning digital artist and photographer, selling her pieces all over the UK.
