Pachamama

Started in 1990 by David Child and Cathy Stirland when they began trading goods from the Andean Mountains of South America, the name 'Pachamama' was inspired by the word for "Earth Mother" in Quechua, the ancient language of the Incas. In 1996 they began their fair trading journey, with handmade wool clothing and accessories all made in Nepal. They place an emphasis on slow, sustainable and ethical fashion, with handmade and unique designs that are made of all natural materials. They also work with villages in Nepal, supplementing their incomes from farming and fitting production around work and family commitments.
